Kid Cudi hizo un guiño a Kurt Cobain, e hizo un gran revuelo en las redes sociales, con opciones de vestuario audaces y conmovedoras en el «Saturday Night Live» de esta semana.

El rapero, de 37 años, lució un vestido de verano floral con tirantes finos en un punto y un cárdigan verde arrugado en otro, mientras interpretaba canciones de su último álbum en el programa de bocetos de NBC.

Cada uno fue un claro tributo al fallecido líder de Nirvana, quien murió por suicidio a los 27 años el 5 de abril de 1994.

“Kid Cudi haciendo el último tributo a Kurt Cobain en #SNL en la semana de su muerte. @KidCudi ¡¡¡todo sobre el amor y la prevención y conciencia del suicidio !!! ”, tuiteó un fan.

La leyenda del grunge usó un vestido floral en la portada de 1993 de la ahora revista británica The Face, que ha revivido en Estados Unidos, un año antes de su muerte.

Cobain también se puso memorablemente un cárdigan verde sucio y quemado por cigarrillos durante el concierto «MTV Unplugged» de Nirvana en 1993.

El suéter se vendió en una subasta por 334 mil dólares. en 2019.
